This movie "Christmas with the Kranks" kinda pisses me off. I know this probably isn't the premise of the movie, but the commercials make it seem like not celebrating Christmas is like a huge crime. Which, y'know, as someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas....I give a very big Hey, what's your problem?!

I give a big Hey, what's your problem to Tim Allen for making a career out of starring in crappy Christmas films. Didn't he torture the American public enough with Home Improvement?
You're a masochist Time Allen and that's all there is to it.
The problem is that narrow is the road and strait is the gate...as in you need to recognize Jesus as the son of God and your savior who died for your sins. Or you will not be saved PERIOD -- THE END.
Jesus is your savior, just as George W Bush is your president. In other words, this "kommercial" is just more proof that we live in the United States of God. We can probably further reduce this promotion of Chrismas to a promotion of consumerism, given the source and the context (being in rich-ass America).
i *think* the thing is the family ALWAYS goes all out for christmas and it's important to the neighborhood that they keep it up, but that's just what i personally gathered from the commercials. and since i'm a jew who celebrates christmas, my opinion probably doesn't count for very much at all...
