An Inconvenient Truth

I like Al Gore.

And I don't like global warming. And the fact that I like Al Gore shouldn't really have much to do with that.

And it sucks that some people are trying to turn Al Gore's new documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" into a big political mess and are against it just 'cause it's Al Gore. The environment's important whether you're a liberal or conservative or completely oblivious to politics.

Anyway, "An Inconvenient Truth" looks both scary and interesting. Here's a link to the site: climatecrisis.net It has some interesting ideas about reducing the negative impact people have on the environment. Simple things like turning off the lights when you leave a room and lowering your thermostat. Check it out.

We'd have beautiful babies...

Robin: Kait, what size nose ring do you wear?
Kait: 16 I think, why?*
Robin: 'Cause I wanted to get you one.
Kait:...why?
Robin: ..Father's Day.
Kait: But I wanted a day planner! Or a tie with a keyboard on it!
Robin: Alright, alright, I'll get you a day planner AND a nose ring.

*I may have gotten that wrong 'cause I don't know jack** about nose ring sizes.

**Yeah, I said it. Eat me.

Linda: I have chocolate in my purse. I have dark chocolate and milk chocolate and chocolate with almonds.
Robin: Why do you have chocolate in your purse?
Linda: In case I want some. And to give to my Grandkids.

Robin <3's Linda

Totally Psycho

So...I got bored and decided to type in my blog address to google and found this:

Was browsing some other blogs out there stumbled across this one. She is totally pyscho but makes for a good guilty pleasure type read. http://www.typicalbrunette2002.blogspot.com

....I don't know if that's a compliment or an insult but I'm pretty damn amused. Am I really totally psycho?

Seriously, where the fuck IS Carteret?

I will do a phone post...really....in the meantime, here's some stuff that happened:

1. Tonight I got really really lost coming back from New Brunswick 'cause I'm awesome. I ended up in Carteret, then thought I was doing well finding my way back...and ended up in Bayonne. But I got home so it's all good.

2. The reason I was in NB in the first place was because I desperately wanted to see Da Vinci Code on the night it came out and forced Linda to go with me (seriously, there was yelling involved...and bribery...naked bribery...no, just kidding...only yelling). Except that stupid Loews was sold out and the next open showing was too late. Fucker. I neeeeed to see that movie.

We went to a diner instead and had an annoying waiter who gave me the wrong dessert and didn't want to pay attention to us. He was kinda busy, though, so maybe we were just mean.

3. The other night Brooke, Kait, and I had a sleepover. I was thinking I should bring chips or ice cream or something. Brooke and Kait decided to bring liquor instead. Definitely a better idea than cheese doodles. So we all got drunk (yes, I actually got drunk...but only kinda...though being around two other drunk girls definitely made me feel it more) and thought it would be a great idea to put on Oakley's (Brooke's roommate/ex boyfriend) clothes. And take pictures. There now exists on a couple of places on the internet pictures of Kait, Brooke, and I all wearing Oakley's boxers over our pants. Hot.

Also, while drunk I decided that Brooke's teapot rocked my world. No innuendo, I was really talking about a tea pot.

I also learned that Clay won't bring you nachos when you're drunk. Uncool man, uncool.

Time to go do something else. Night.

By the way, it's possible that I only want a certain perfume because Rachel Weiss is in the ads for it. Such is my love for Rachel.

Phone post later, maybe? 'Cause I'm too lazy to put together anything well written and stream of conciousness is way more fun in vocal form.

Dressed in yella...

I think I'm going stir crazy. I haven't had an actual vacation in....um....well...since last July when I went to California, and most of that time was spent with my grandmother, so I don't know if I really consider that a vacation. Going slightly mad.

I need to go awaaaay. I need fresh air. And fun. I'm at a point where I get personally insulted hearing my friends talk about going fun places and doing fun things. "I went to three different parties tonight and an amusement park in the morning!" "Oh..um...I went to work and then watched CSI DVD's for a few hours...and tomorrow I'm..going back to work". It's like Cinderella listening to her step sisters plan for the ball or something. Except a really cranky Cinderella with no fairy godmother and no prince charming and no singing mice to help me clean my room.

Yep. It's official. Once I start making Cinderella references I've officially lost it.

I shouldn't get all cranky when someone tells me about having fun, I'm just bitter and competetive, especially with certain people. "I had a better time than you did, na na na na na".

Like I said, I need a vacation.

Least I got to see Mari today. Yay! And she's gonna be working nearby, double yay!

Off I go. I suck at going to sleep on time. Night.

If there's anything that I can't stand, it's listening to some chubby middle aged man monotonously reading the backs of movie covers to his 10 year old.

This weekend I saw a girl steal a shirt.

That's all for now. Bye. :-)
